Head Teachers and Senior Managers

Coaching has become the norm for top executives in large corporations and as all business leaders know, it can be lonely at the top.

Heads and Senior Managers often don't have the time or support to think about the strategic direction of the school, or to reflect on their leadership style and presence and how they can best develop it.

Coaching offers a one to one space, where senior managers can develop personally, reflect on best practice and have a positive effect throughout the school.

Coaching Clinics

A great way to kick start coaching in your school. Coach to Learn clinics offer a one off, drop-in coaching service for all staff.
A superb opportunity for staff to see in practice how coaching can create a space to reflect, set goals and implement positive change.

Professional Development Days

Presentation and interactive workshops tailored to your specific requirements and time frame.
Popular topics include:
-
Coaching Skills for staff pupil interactions
-
Coaching for Stress (Pupil or Teacher)
-

Coaching for Student Career Choice
School’s Partnership Programme

At Coach To Learn we believe that all teachers should have access to the support and guidance that coaching can offer, so we set up our School's Partnership Programme.

The programme, provides pro-bono coaching services to a non-fee paying school of your choice, as part of your unique package.

Senior Management Team Facilitation
The day to day running of the school can sometimes cause SMT to lose sight of the overall vision for future development.
Our team facilitation package can provide a regular space to enable the SMT to re-focus and work as team on their long-term strategy for the school.
Individual Staff Coaching Support
All members of your teaching staff can benefit from coaching. We recognise that a recently qualified member of staff may have different coaching requirements to a Head of Faculty or House Parent.
We work with the individual to best support and develop their teaching practice, pastoral care and personal and professional ambitions.

Tutor Training

This can also be tailored to specific groups including house parents, academic tutors and matrons.
These sessions aim to provide a foundation in basic coaching skills, showing how to build rapport and support the students in their care, to fully maximise their potential.
Creating Your Unique Internal Coaching Team and Appraisal System

A comprehensive training programme for existing staff members to become in-school coaches.

Implementing internal coaching partnerships in your school creates a supportive culture of development and ambition, that the entire school can benefit from.
Bringing coaching skills into appraisals and lesson observations can be a hugely positive way to help your staff to develop their teaching practice and work to their full potential.
HAPPY CLIENTS
St Paul's Catholic School
“In terms of work life balance - having half an hour when you can talk something out with someone and get the chance to take a step back and think of a different way to approach a challenge - is invaluable.”
St Paul's Catholic School
“Katie Harvey has played a critical role in the coaching and personal development of a number of key staff at Hurst with impressive results. Whether they are looking towards headship or just working through how to be more effective and successful in their lives, staff have hugely appreciated her wise, thoughtful and insightful approach.”
“I have had training in coaching and use the techniques with students in mentoring meetings. It is the first time I have been coached and it was really useful from that point of view”
